What I learned... by WendyAtticus What I learned... by WendyAtticus
Just to clarify: I am stuck up.
I've decided I'm stubborn, I'm sick and tired of being told what to do and how to do it.
Drawing is my hobby.
I like to draw for fun.
I do not wish to draw flawless photo-like images.
I do not like critique insisting parts of my own body do not exist.
I just want to have fun. :dummy:

Edit: This is not a tutorial(obviously), I just thought it was funny enough to share. :dummy: People can be flexible~ Necktits are stupid~ etc etc

Additional information: I am a hobby "Artist"/drawing person, I do not have access to art classes nor the means to gain access to them. I do practice realistic anatomy nearly every time I draw. I want to improve but I do not want to improve by drawing what people consider to be real instead of observing from real life. It should not be that big a deal really. I have many personal issues that do slow my progress something harsh. But that's my problem and no one needs to be concerned about that, I'm aware that I have barriers that are going to take a very long time to cross.

I know how it is, whenever I draw, all I hear from over my shoulder is "blah blah blah read some anatomy books to get better blah blah blah that's not right blah blah blah" and it's a real motivation killer. Everyone has their own style and everyone can improve on it, but nitpicking when a pixel is out of place just drives me insane! Personally, I hate it when my work gets critiqued, and when I say that I do, they ALWAYS SAY IT: "It's to help you improve on your art!"

And yet, when they pretty much start bashing literally hours of hard work, any motivation I have to draw, runs down the drain and I wanna find someplace dark to hide in. True every now and again you hear something supportive but the negative comments tend to outweigh it! The best way I heard it described was "You need one thousand positive comments to overcome one bad one."

I must say, it's the reality of how people these expect all our artwork to look like deform sex icons -___-
Anyway, at first I thought this was one of those tutorials then I realized it's a satire

 Pretty much! XD It really goes to show the effect it has on art as a whole too. Some people will take a photo of a naked girl, then someone will redraw that naked girl with enormous breasts.
:iconteheplz: Unfortunately I think it has been taken for a tutorial. Which is fair enough~ I've not been known for my cheeky activity or such. XD
